National Cyber Security Capacity Building

Purpose: Improve and increase Liberia’s  cybersecurity capabilities 
Description: There is an inadequate supply of cybersecurity experts Liberia. This project aims to build Liberian capacity in cybersecurity.

Activities:

  • Develop and implement education and training curricula programs in cyber and information security
  • Foster collaboration and partnership with international cybersecurity agencies to ensure knowledge and skills transfer
  • Training of trainers

Expected Outcome:

  • Adequate supply of cybersecurity professionals
  • Cybersecurity awareness and education
  • Cybersecurity preparedness

Outcome Indicators:

  • 1. At least one ICT professional within each government institution receives at least 1cyber security training of trainer course
  • 2. At least one person in the private sector and other critical sectors trained in cybersecurity
  • 3. At least 100 students from Rwandan Universities trained in cybersecurity per year.
